If you're struggling with turning the steering wheel, especially at low speeds, check the power steering fluid. If that doesn't correct the problem, it may be an issue with the power steering pump, ball joint, or belts.

If you detect a sickly sweet smell coming from the engine, the problem could be leaking anti-freeze. Look under the engine to see if there is a pool of yellow green liquid. If there is, refill the radiator with fluid and bring your car in to be checked.

When removing window stickers, it is important to do so carefully to avoid scratching the glass.

No matter how many DIY videos you find online, paint-less dent removal is not a good project to try out your learning curve. You may end up paying more to repair damage caused by inexperience than you would if you left it to a professional.

You should never smell burning transmission fluid coming from the automatic transmission. If you do, it means there’s a leak. If it’s not corrected immediately, it could lead to serious problems and expensive repairs.

If your windshield wiper is making scraping noises, it means - not surprisingly, that you need new wiper blades. Change them now before the bad weather makes driving in reduced visibility dangerous.

Anti-lock brakes have sensors on each wheel to monitor speed and prevent skidding when the brakes are suddenly applied, eliminating the need to pump the brakes in an emergency. Have them inspected when you rotate tires to keep them in good order.

Periodically check your hoses and belts for signs of wear (especially before taking a road trip). If you think they need replacing, bring your car in and we'll double-check and replace them if necessary.

The odor of sulfur or rotten eggs coming from the engine exhaust could mean a problems with the oxygen sensor, catalytic converter, PCV valve, ignition timing, or some other issue. Fortunately, it’s a problem that is easily diagnosed.
