Do you drive a car with an automatic transmission? If it (the transmission) starts to slip while in gear, the transmission fluid could be low, need replacement, or the transmission bands may need to be tightened.

The differential allows your vehicle’s wheels to rotate at different speeds on the axle, for example, when turning around a corner. The main cause of a differential failure is the misalignment of the unit, axles or drive shafts.

If tinkering with engines isn’t really something that you do, it would be a good idea to lay off any DIY repairs. More often than not, faults are far more complicated than what an online video might suggest so the best thing to do is to let an experienced mechanic pinpoint the issue.

Periodically check your ride’s wheel alignment and rotate the tires according to the manufacturer’s recommendation. This will improve steering control and balance the wear on the tires to maximize life.

A faulty thermostat can keep your car from warming up properly in cold weather, causing it to overheat quickly. Fortunately this is an inexpensive repair that will prevent more serious damage.

Sludge in the crankcase is a problem. Its causes can include not changing the oil at recommended intervals, using the wrong grade of oil, a broken PCV valve, or piston ring damage, among others.

Have you ever noticed that many of Volkswagen’s cars are named after various types of wind? For example, The Passat, is German for “trade wind,” Polo is German for “polar winds,” and the Jetta means “jet stream.”

If you're shifting into drive while your car is rolling backwards, your killing the transmission. Wait until you come to a complete stop before changing gears.

I wish I could give him more stars. He went above and beyond my expectations and was incredibly helpful. I got rear ended and he was not only the cheapest option but he was the most honest about the damage. He got me in quickly and had my car fixed incredibly fast especially considering he had to order the parts. I was honestly shocked at how fast and great the work was. You can’t even tell I was hit. It looks brand new and I am incredibly thankful for how professional and hardworking he was. If you’re having car issues this is by far the best place to go in the area.
