A ticking noise coming from the engine when your vehicle is idling or driving may signal a number of things. The problem could be with the rocker arm, the pistons or piston rings, the main bearing, or it could be with the fuel line assembly.

It may seem basic, but make sure that you adjust your mirrors, seat, and steering wheel position before you put the car in gear. That way, you can drive comfortably and have a full range of vision without having to unsafely make adjustments while driving.

Can you name the seven vital fluids that every vehicle needs for optimal performance on the road? These include motor oil, transmission fluid, coolant, brake fluid, windshield wiper fluid, battery fluid, and power steering fluid.

What's that horrible squeak when you hit your brakes? That's the squealer - and you are lucky to have it, as many car manufacturers have stopped installing them. That squeal is telling you that your brakes need service ASAP before you wear out the rotors.

If your engine is stalling, it could be because a sensor is faulty or an electrical component is damaged or has gone bad. Bring your car in and we'll perform a diagnostic check to find out the cause.

To get the longest life from your tires, have the wheel alignment checked periodically, and rotate the tires according to the manufacturer’s recommendation. This improves steering control and balances tire wear.

The brake pads on your car or truck should be replaced at least every 30,000 miles or if they start squealing every time you depress the brake pedal, whichever comes first.

Diesel engines tend to run much hotter than gasoline engines. Because of that, have the cooling system checked regularly and make sure all scheduled maintenance is performed.

What's that noise? If you hear clicking from under the hood while the car is stopped, it usually means you are low on oil. Do not wait - get the vehicle in to a mechanic as low oil can permanently damage your engine.
